If you find a poem that is about waiting a life time to find that perfect someone, but you and your partner feel that you had to wait at all, then refrain from that poem. It is a bright idea to sit down with each other and talk about what you want to be said during the ceremony. Friendship, love, laughter, happiness, or even God, are all things that can be said including other topics of choice. Once you two have reached a settlement, then start searching!

Some of these poems are very sweet and classy while others are cheesy and cute. Also, remember that you are not required to read a long poem or even the entire poem. The Time to Read Your Wedding Poem

There are basically two ways you can read your wedding poem. You can get the person you are marrying to read the poem. Or, you can have a special guest, such as someone in the family or a best friend, read the poem. Sometimes, each couple decides to pick and read their poems to each other during the marriage ceremony. Also, if you aren’ t comfortable reading the poem outloud, you can have it printed somewhere in the the program where everyone will see it.
